Father God, You created our children and you love them more than we ever could. Thank you for the privilege of allowing us to love and care for them. Let us be agents of good and growth in our children’s lives. We confess that we alone are not equal to the task, but look to you to provide all we need. Be our grace when we are impatient. Be our guide when we lack wisdom. Be our rock when all we feel is chaos. Be our joy when the world is heavy. Give us all we need to give our children what they need from us. Help us to help them see the stories you have for them; stories that may have started with adversity but move on to great purpose and resilience. May their adversity be a small footnote to all the good they will experience and accomplish. And may you allow us the privilege to witness our children becoming overcomers. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. ...
